Earlier this month, East Texas Lighthouse was honored to be featured on KTBB’s weekly radio program, In Focus. Our very own Craig Ellis joined the show to share the rich history of our organization, provide an overview of the wide range of programs and services we offer, and highlight the annual events that bring our mission to life. He also spoke about Horizon Industries—our manufacturing division that provides meaningful employment opportunities to individuals who are blind, while producing high-quality products for government and commercial customers.
We are incredibly grateful to KTBB for giving us the opportunity to share our story with their listeners. By helping raise awareness of the challenges faced by individuals with visual impairments—and the life-changing work happening every day through both East Texas Lighthouse and Horizon Industries—they’re playing an important role in building a more inclusive and supportive community.
